The World Economic Forum is the international institution based in Geneva that is committed to improving the state of the world. Each year the Forum hosts a high profile annual meeting in the Swiss town of Davos, attended by the world’s leaders, thinkers and innovators. The vision for the Forum’s digital team is to be a source for innovative and engaging thinking about the ongoing challenges faced by the world; we help bring that content to life on a daily basis.
The goal for the World Economic Forum’s content team is to continue to build on its reputation as a curator of intelligent, useable content that will inspire and inform those supporting and building the world’s economies. We have developed rigorous and streamlined processes to allow us to sift, curate and upload content efficiently and quickly across multiple social media platforms. Our editors and writers prioritise quality control, even when creating a large number of posts each day.
We have worked with the World Economic Forum’s digital team since July 2014. Since that time we have increased daily blog posting from three per day to more than 50. We also write, curate and post all of the associated social media posts related to those blogs. In that time, the Forum’s Facebook following has increased by more than 200,000. As well as daily content, we also provide on-site support, fast-turnaround and live tweeting coverage from World Economic Forum events, including the Annual Meeting in Davos.
