Our client needed to find new ways to engage new audiences for FundForum an annual event. Formative Content recommended development of an interactive content hub for those attending the conference to share and learn, with insights from conference attendees and speakers.
For our client this was a first foray into interactive content uploaded as an adjunct to its main site. Informa wished to create and upload video content on site during the conference with target interviewees speaking about key issues.
We designed an interactive hub for upload of daily content and provided content during the duration of the event, including blogs, articles and video interviews filmed on site and uploaded immediately.
This content was shared on the FundForum Facebook site as it was filmed. Our single on-site reporter filmed more than forty videos across the two day event. Many of the articles written by ‘FundForum’ on the content hub have been written by our writers. Alongside the live Content Hub, we also created additional layers of content, including an E-Book.
For the FundForum this was an experiment in interactive online engagement. During the week of the conference Twitter saw a follower growth of 4.6%, Facebook saw a like growth of 8.9%, and the live blog received 3,465 views.
