In June 2015 the global recruitment company, SThree, wanted to significantly increase its digital presence across multiple social platforms for six of its specialist sub-brands.
The objective was set to build online brand communities, boost audience engagement and increase impressions, with the intention of triggering a rise in click throughs to the individual brand websites.
Formative Content worked closely with SThree to understand each brand’s identity and develop a brand voice using insightful, long-form content, supported by short-form content. This integrated and strategic approach to brand-building led Formative Content to create a comprehensive social media scheduling system for SThree, used internally by the agency.
The Social Media Execution Plan (SMEP) was rolled out across all brands; it allowed the booking, commissioning and logging of all content, including associated social media posts, scheduled repeat posts and third party content. By using Formative Content’s SMEP, SThree could enjoy high-volume, high-quality content across all brands and aim to meet the contract objectives.
Formative Content developed the SMEP to flex with the differing requirements of each brand, and could monitor all planned and published content quickly and easily.
The SMEP allowed the agency to work efficiently for SThree, commissioning its newsroom team to write relevant, intelligent content that would tick every box for the client. The results were fantastic, and after just three months Formative Content had achieved a total of 3 million impressions.
Across the first year of working with SThree Formative achieved over 19 million LinkedIn Impressions and 152,000 clickthroughs.
