The Australian Human Rights Commission is the Government body overseeing the application of legislation in the areas of human rights, anti-discrimination, social justice and privacy.
The communications team at the Australian Human Rights Commission in Sydney was developing a vision of multi-platform messaging and content to deliver its messages to audiences across Australia. The aim of Formative’s work with the AHRC was to ensure that internal stakeholders and staff were clear on the vision of the commission across social media. As well as supporting the development of this vision, the training sessions supported senior staff in their knowledge and understanding of social media and its use for engaging multiple audiences.
Senior staff at the Australian Human Rights Commission were evangelised and enthused by Formative’s practical, hands-on social media training. They were empowered to support more effectively the broader vision of the communications team and its aim to support the disenfranchised of Australia and the region.
